10 CHRISTMAS BEAUTY QUESTIONS TAG (#BLOGMAS DAY 8)

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS TAG?! Isn't that what #BLOGMAS is all about?
I've taken on the Christmas Beauty Tag found on the lovely Linda's channel (applemeeko.wordpress.com) that I thought was a great treat to add to my Christmas blogs this year (I am after all a fashion and beauty blog). Here are my answers to the questions this year!

Have you been naughty or nice this year with your skincare routine?
NAUGHTY! I've honestly been so terrible, I've tried to keep on top of things but I'm lazy so I miss steps all the time (I even go to bed most nights with my makeup still on; I'm awful!)

What’s the go-to beauty, makeup or skincare product you would gift to your family and friends?
I am in love with the Bravura Salicylic Acid; it has been my favourite skincare product that I have ever tried out, not just this year, and I try and use it as often as possible as it has the best results. Only problem is, everyone I know has great skin, and this product is more for those that suffer with acne and blemishes, so for basic skincare products, I would probably go for Nip+Fab's Kale Fix Moisturiser.

Do you mind gifting high-end products or rather drug store products to others?
If I had the funds, I would rather high-end products that I know work well. Usually I go for "middle products" like Clinique and Clarins because they're just edge of budget and I know they work well, and I find they are better money-worth than druge store products.

What are the beauty products you’re hoping to get to see under your Christmas tree this year?
Hopefully some more foundation as I'm running low, but I can see that being unlikely; I guess it'll have to be a present to myself (although I am looking for other products as I'm not liking mine at the moment).

What is the beauty product that you’re dreading to receive for Christmas this year?
Anything Lynx. I feel bad, but someone always seems to buy me a Lynx Women giftset and I never use them, they always get given to charities (which I guess is good in some way, but still makes me feel bad).

Are you are beauty blogger participating in Blogmas this year? If so what is the post you’re most proud of so far?
Half and Half. I'm trying to, but knowing me there will be days missed and I won't keep to schedule. I've only just started so I haven't been proud specifically of one, however I have filmed a video which hopefully will be put up, and I also have created a Christmas giveaway AND have started writing my part two of my 'Top Badasss Women of the Year' so...

Do you remember the first beauty product you received as a Christmas present? What was it and did you enjoy it?
I think it was No7 BB Cream. I started to get spots around aged 13 so my mum bought me some nice BB Cream which I loved so much! I felt so grown up and it definitely contributed to my love of makeup today.

What mini size product would you recommend as a great stocking stuffer?
Lancome's Energie De Vie. I have a tester size and it's lasted pretty well and is so amazing on the skin. it is a smoothing and glow-boosting formula that I put on before makeup; it feels and smells amazing.

Would you rather you friends and family ask you gifts you wanted to receive or have them surprise you?
I like surprises. My mum last year asked me to write a list which she bought me everything I listed, and although I did enjoy it because I loved every item, I do like being surprised with items because it adds to the magic of Christmas. I NEVER tell others what I have bought them for Christmas, even if they ask me to.

What is your favourite way to show Christmas spirit through your look or outfit?
I love sparkles. Any time of sparkle or sequin is what gets me in the Christmas spirit at this time of year. I feel as though I can't ever wear sparkles any other time of the year, so it is a great thing to pull out of your wardrobe on the week of Christmas!
