COACHELLA 15: BEST DRESSED CELEBS

Coachella 2014 was definitely eventful last year for celebrities channeling their festival vibe, pulling out all the feathers and oversized necklaces they could find in order to reach the best-dressed list, one of the most popular lists for festival fashion to date. As my post last year became such a hit, I decided why not round up my favourite looks from this year's Coachella and praise those celebrities that just done everything right, kicking off this year's summer trends.
This year definitely saw the rise of everyones favourite LA teens, with the likes of model besties, Kendall, Hailey and Gigi, leading the pack with the stereotypical "hippie" vibe often found around the grounds of Coachella. Last year my favourites were definitely the adults, like Coachella-veteran, Vanessa Hudgens, and 90210 star, Shenae Grimes-Beech, however this year the teens definitely dominated the field.

Gigi Hadid

It is clear that 70's retro is back in fashion for this Summer, and I am in love with Gigi's camel fringe jacket with her belt chain and festival-style jewellery. Gigi literally always manages to pull off every look and dresses to impress at every single appearance that she attends; however, I absolutely love her street style, and she understands that tan compliments black well and brings that extra pop of colour and texture to a simple outfit. Her loose waves are perfect for this summer and are effortless, making it an easy hairstyle for you to copy at home.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie is always on the radar for fashion trends and is usually one to set them, and she definitely did with her sleeveless blazer two-piece that she sported alongside sister, Kendall. Last year Kylie was totally involved with the festival vibe, however this year she went more sophisticated, which made her stand out a lot more. What's more, her hairstyles were TO DIE FOR. My favourite had to be the silver plaited 'do that she sported attending the second weekend with sisters, Khloe and Kendall, and boyfriend, Tyga. From her blue, to pink, to silver braids, I think Kylie absolutely killed her look this year, and while everyone was crowning Kendall as their "queen", I definitely think that Kylie's look was a lot more edgy and suitable for this season's trends.

Cody Simpson

Cody definitely sold me for the boys this year, and where it was clear that the trends for this summer's men's fashion is very plain black and white blocking, Cody put his own twist on the trends, pairing his signature akubra-style hat and an outgoing poncho jacket with the latest style of cut-offs and tank tops. Cody's music and style blatantly represent what a laid-back person he truly is, and him and girlfriend, Gigi, looked super cute walking hand in hand around the field. Although I love Cody's style and it was definitely a winner for me from this year's male attendees, I would suggest that maybe he cut his hair just a leeeeetle bit.

Hailey Baldwin

After following Hailey on Instagram the other day, I have been IN LOVE with her. Every outift that she wears she seems to pull off perfectly, I mean, look at her outfit for the MET Gala, it was absolutely stunning and not everyone can pull off such an amazing dress. Looking at her choices for Coachella, Hailey was definitely laid-back, in tank tops and shorts, but my favourite look had to her vibrant purple paisley crop top with white "booty shorts" and denim shirt, which was everything in itself. If I looked as great as Hailey I would definitely wear this outfit to the festival, and I think this outfit is tied my favourite with Gigi's wardrobe for the weekend. What I love about Hailey's wardrobe is it's so versatile and she can pull off anything; formal or informal. This outfit in particular mixes both of the style together, and gives a perfect metaphorical mullet; business at the top, party at the bottom (kind of ((?)))

Jourdan Dunn

Although Jourdan is one of the most famous models in the world, being a Victoria Secret Angel and all, but being besties with the likes of Cara Delevigne I feel like she gets overshadowed pretty often. However sporting purple hair she definitely stood out at the festival, and paired with her rounded glasses and gladiator sandals. Although I'm not a fan of the shoes and crochet, playsuits are always an essential wardrobe piece for the summer, and the chunky jewellery is something I love all year round. Usually attendees often sport only one look, and if they try others it doesn't usually work as well and one look is always dominant, however Jourdan also went for the blue/silver hair for the festival which looked SO great; her grungy style was definitely one to remember from this year's celebrity styles.

Alessandra Ambrosio

EVERYTHING about Alessandra's outfit for this year's music festival was totally in season and I am in love with every part of it. I am mad for tassels and tan suede this season, so Alessandra's bralet is my most favourite item from this year's celebrity looks. She bought back cowboy boots that are a typical choice of footwear for festivals, especially Coachella, and the authentic style is definitely the way forward. Alessandra also accessorises well for the festival scene, with a small bag that is great for keeping essentials on you as well as being light weight, so you don't need to lug it around all day and hurt your back, as well as not getting in the way of others when in the crowd. Look at this year's celebrity fashion choices, denim shorts are definitely a wardrobe staple for this summer and are great with every look!
